Hopscotch is delighted to announce that our CEO, Benaifer Bhandari, has been appointed Chair of Voluntary Action Camden (VAC)

VAC’s stated mission is “to work with local residents, community groups and organisations to develop and support a vibrant civil society that underpins a high quality of life in Camden’, and we are supremely confident that Benaifer can spearhead the continuation of VAC’s work toward this goal.

Benaifer’s appointment also puts tackling the inequities faced by all in Camden front and centre of the working agenda of VAC, and gives both VAC and Hopscotch a valuable opportunity to work together to tackle these issues.

Moreover, this appointment provides even more evidence of Hopscotch being led by individuals with engagement throughout the voluntary and charitable sector. Benaifer’s appointment to this role (along with her roles with Global Generation and C4) along with the roles held by our trustees Vidhu Sood—Nicholls (Teach First) and Simran Chawla (Women and Girls Network) attest to the grounding in the sector that helps Hopscotch thrive.
